Why QueryRight exists

Querying literary agents is one of the most opaque parts of trying to publish a book. Authors are told to research agents carefully, but the information is scattered across dozens of sites, wishlists change constantly, and it's hard to know who's actually a good fit versus who just represents your genre in theory.

QueryRight reads your manuscript profile against a researched, source-verified database of literary agents and returns a short, ranked shortlist — with the specific evidence for why each agent might be a fit, not a vague recommendation. Every match is backed by real, checkable information.

We're early. The agent database is still growing, and we're building this in the open as a small, independent project — not a large publishing-tech company. If you have feedback, we'd genuinely like to hear it.
